Transport Canada and the CSA have developed the B620 standard for vessels transporting hazardous materials. These stringent design specifications require a registered engineer to perform design reviews before a vessel is manufactured. Also a related standard TC 44 has been worked out in conjunction with the CAODC for transport of portable diesel fuel tanks.
