Allan R. Nelson Engineering acquires the latest in design tools
Allan R. Nelson Engineering today announced that its has upgraded
its design and analysis software suite. The addition of Solidworks
and Design Space improves productivity and expands the range of
services available to clients.
Solidworks has been added to the list of design tools utilized
by Allan R. Nelson Engineering (1997) Inc. to offer our clients
the latest in 3D modeling capabilities.
Some of the benefits are:
Control the design process more efficiently
Reduce design cycles for product development
3D modeling of complex geometric components
Animation capabilities to demonstrate how the various
components
interact
Provide 3D designs that are accurate visual representations
of
the final product
Efficient 3D modeling for stress analysis using Finite
Element
Analysis (FEA)

Design space, an ANSYS product has also been added to our list
of design tools. This Finite Element Analysis package provides a
full range of computer stress analysis' to accurately predict stress
levels of designs.
Some of the benefits are:
Accurately predict stress levels on complex components
using
visual representations of the stress levels
Predict product performance in the early stages of the design
process
Reduce costs by avoiding unnecessary design
modifications
Circumvent traditional prototyping by conceptualizing,
designing
and validating designs on the computer
Foster product development cycles - with lower associated
costs
- achieved by eliminating the need to constantly build,
test,
redesign and rebuild physical prototypes
