Allan R. Nelson Engineering (1997) Inc. has been providing engineering services to the industrial sector in Western Canada and abroad since 1966. Allan R. Nelson, the founder of the consulting firm, has provided specialized machinery design for a number or industries including:

Allan R. Nelson Engineering has successfully designed drilling rig designs of capacities of 1,000,000 lbs. In addition to providing design services, the firm has provided failure analysis and insurance investigations throughout Canada and the United States including numerous court appearances for expert witness testimony. The firm has also provided inspection services using various nondestructive testing techniques to ensure the equipment is safe for use. We have provided, and continue to do so, detailed equipment inspections and engineering certifications for drilling and service rigs worldwide.
